PRLog - Jan. 16, 2013 - CHICAGO -- Chicago, Ill.- Kokua Hospitality executives proudly announce the promotion of Tina Ko to Director of Revenue Management at The DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile, 300 East Ohio Street. She replaces Brian Bolf who has been promoted to a regional revenue management position. Ko now manages reservations and revenue for the 500-room hotel after serving two years in the role for the Inn of Chicago, an Ascend Collection, a 359-room boutique property also managed by Kokua Hospitality, LLC.

Prior to her time with the Inn of Chicago, Ko spent almost eight years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts in a variety of positions ranging from sales reporting systems analyst to convention service manager and finally to director of revenue management.
“The director of revenue position is one of many imperative roles at our property and we value the expertise Tina brings to our hotel,” says Birgit Radin, managing director of the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile and Inn of Chicago.
Ko has been awarded numerous accolades such as “Kokua Hospitality Manager of the Quarter” in 2011 while at the Inn of Chicago and “Revenue Management Market Share Award” for the Central Region from the Sheraton Suites Elk Grove Village in 2006. During her time with The Westin Michigan Avenue in December 2005, she was awarded the “Shining Star Award.”
Ko graduated from Drake University in May 1997 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration. She currently resides in Wheaton and enjoys attending Cubs games, both on the road and at Wrigley Field, and exploring all that the Chicago dining scene has to offer.
