Jan. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- With the first week under their belt, Texas Trophy Hunters Association™ (TTHA) is proud to welcome Clay Walker as the new host of TROPHY HUNTERS TV® for the 2013 season.

“As an avid hunter and outdoorsman I am a fan of Trophy Hunters TV so when I was approached to host the new season I jumped at the chance,” said Clay. “I hope that the fans enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed hosting and being a part of this season.”

Whether on stage or in the recording studio, Walker never gives less than 100 percent, and it's that kind of dedicated work ethic combined with God-given talent that have made him one of the most successful country acts of the past decade and will surely propel him to be a top-notch host in the outdoor industry as well.

Clay is an avid hunter and outdoorsman with deep rooted family values that are sure to make him fun to watch on TV.  Be sure to catch Clay next season as he hunts elk in Colorado, Whitetails across Texas, and play his guitar in camp.  Tune in to the new Trophy Hunters TV® with Clay Walker on the Outdoor Channel.

As a true fan favorite with a devoted legion of followers across the country, Clay Walker made his country music debut in 1993 with his smash hit “What’s It To You,” which quickly climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard charts.  Since then, he has sold over 11 million albums, had 11 No. 1 hit singles, four RIAA platinum and two gold certified albums under his belt. Clay is currently out supporting his critically acclaimed ninth studio album “She Won’t Be Lonely Long.” Outside of the stage and studio, Clay is the founder of Band Against MS (http://www.bandagainstms.org/) (BAMS) a non-profit charity that funds MS research and education. Walker established BAMS in 2003 with the goal of helping others living with the same disease he has battled since 1996.  To date, BAMS has raised more than $2 million.

Airing on Outdoor Channel, you can catch Clay Walker and all the action of TROPHY HUNTERS TV® on their new schedule, Sundays at 2 p.m. EST. Subsequent shows will air Tuesdays at 6 p.m. EST; Wednesdays at 8 a.m. EST.
