Free Winter Community Education Classes Offered by Hoag

Classes arranged under seven general categories offered at Hoag Campuses

Jan. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Providing patients and the public with an opportunity to learn, share, cope and discover in an inviting and compassionate environment, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian has announced a full slate of free community education classes for everyone from newly diagnosed cancer patients to those seeking tips on living healthier lifestyles.

The classes are arranged under seven general categories -- heart, family, orthopedic, women, senior, cancer and neurosciences, and offer something for everyone.

         Featured Winter Classes include:

·       A Newly Diagnosed Cancer Orientation

Held every other Wednesday at 1:00 pm, beginning Jan. 23 at Hoag Cancer Center Auditorium

·       Groundbreaking Treatment for Those Suffering from GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease);

Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. at Hoag Hospital Irvine Auditorium

·       Women Need Sleep Too

Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach Conference Center

·       Not So Simple Tips for a Healthier Lifestyle

Wednesday, March 13 at 6 p.m. at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach Conference Center

·       Reducing Your Risk for Alzheimer’s Disease

Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. Hoag Hospital Irvine Auditorium
