PRLog - Jan. 14, 2013 - MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Archie’s Promise was established in 2009 to assist less fortunate high school girls within Tennessee. Our mission is to provide young women opportunities to attend special events such as prom, homecoming dances, academic banquets, and military balls. The main initiative of Archie’s Promise is to provide donated prom dress to young women, many of whom live in single family homes, live in very low income housing, students in foster homes, and referrals from school counselors, social workers, and teachers.

Archie’s Promise makes it possible for young women to attend the events of their lifetime while building self-confidence, promoting academic excellence, and a life changing service opportunity to donate their prom dress back into the organization for another young girl in need.
On Saturday March 9th, 2013, Archie’s Promise will host its 5th Annual Prom Dress Drive Giveaway & Sale. The event will feature entertainment, food, and guest speakers. Our guest speakers will include teachers, guidance counselors, principals, supporters, and volunteers.
As founder of Archie’s Promise, I ask that you please join us in donating a sponsorship or learn more about sponsorship opportunists. Your donation will go toward event promotion, purchasing plus size dresses, paying for the monthly storage unit, and other expenses for the organization for 2013. We are happy to acknowledge your donation on our website, social media sites, and at numerous events throughout the year. I hope that you will consider joining us in our quest to make Tennessee a better place.
