Is the Powerball lottery with over 195 million to 1 odds a scam?

It appears that it will not be long before over half of America will be depending on some sort of Government assistance and there is no answer to correct it. . There are many reasons but: gambling, alcohol, illegal drugs, smoking are main ones.

PRLog - Jan. 14, 2013 - BROOKSVILLE, Fla. -- As more and more people become dependent on State and Federal financial aid it increases the chances for the Democrats to become the only political party able to elect a President in the future..

It appears the lotteries are attracting the most attention and hurting more people financially than anything else.  People will continue to play them because they have been led to believe it is about the only way to become rich.

The truth is they are being scammed and do not realize it..  Since they will continue to gamble anyway, the lotteries need to be modified to increase the odds of winning.

The Lottery Secretary of Florida has been introduced to a plan to make such a change while at the same time increase revenue for the State.  However she declined to consider this plan.  Other States will no doubt take the same position.

So, it is up to the people to find a way for them to make a change even it it means going to court.  Anyone interested in helping to bring this about can contact Louis F. Mlecka at mlecka@att.net

The main changes are: reduce the lotto numbers to 39, pay out entire amount per drawing with no rollovers and pro-rate among the holders of 5,4 and 3 numbers and limit the 6 number winner to 10%..  There is no reason for anyone to win mult-millions.
