Jan. 14, 2013 - This is a journal of my journey through Breast Cancer, a brain tumour and cancer in a gland. It covers my thoughts as first preliminary examinations and then chemotherapy came into mine and my family's life. I do mention some of the medicines and the procedures involved but steer clear of any medical advice as I am not a doctor. My story starts way back in January 2006 at the age of 42 and continues through to 2009. My journal is written with hope, laughter, dreams of the future and some sorrow. I have kept as much as possible to promoting being positive and finding something to laugh about every day. The reason I am publishing such a personal diary is to share it with women around the world. I want to let other women know that being diagnosed with cancer is not necessarily a death sentence.
