PRLog -- The Bangor University Gaming League is a university society that hopes to provide gaming awesomeness for anyone who wants to get involved. Our members requested that we run a video game marathon after our exams for fun and as a reward for surviving the exam period. To go the extra mile, and push ourselves to the limits, we are livestreaming the event on twitch (twitch.tv/bugl)
. To stay on the safe side, it is being encouraged that members do not attempt the full 72 hours, and to take breaks at regular hour intervals. The livestream itself will be games which can be entertaining to watch and provide interaction with an audience, and to encourage donations which will go straight to the charity Child's Play (www.childsplaycharity.org)
. Our equipment will be provided by members and partially from society funding, but this is low and we are hoping that some may be interested in helping us fund raise for the society itself. We have many event ideas and ways we can get people outside of the society involved, and those adventures will depend on the feedback we get from this event. We have set ourselves the personal goal of £100, and are already well on the way to this as of this post on the 14/01. Events of this nature frequently get lots of viewers, and raise a lot of money for charity. Your support could make all the differences, and supporting the charity and stream could be great publicity for yourself and who you represent. If we have a particularly large support directly to the society or the donations we will happily mention who it was from, and top donors will be shown on the live stream.
