PRLog - Jan. 14, 2013 - It’s the second week of 2013. Many people have already given up on their New Year’s Resolutions and statistically speaking, 85 % of people that set New Year’s Resolutions will stop following them by the end of January. Is that you?
Motivate America's Motivation Monday
Did you have “New Year’s Resolutions”
Some people actually give the ridiculous answer that they don’t create goals or New Year’s Resolutions because they know they aren’t going to follow through with them! Nothing like convincing yourself of failure before you start. It’s a good thing that Edison or Einstein or Steve Jobs didn’t have that mentality.
After years of conducting programs and speaking and reading about people, my sense is that many people don’t actually know what “inspires”
I created National Motivation & Inspiration Day©, because there is a difference between being “motivated”
Don’t get me wrong. Money is important and we are indebted to the generosity of those people that are true philanthropists that build schools, wings of hospitals and many special projects and needs for our communities. If it weren’t for those people, where would we be? However, we all know the difference of those that are “motivated”
When was the last time you were “inspired?”
Motivation Mondays© are intended to motivate and inspire you. To plant seeds of thought that might germinate into activities that will change our communities and the world. The motto of Motivate America is “take action to make things happen!©” I believe that unless you take action toward the dreams and goals you have set for yourself, then it is just a wish list. It’s just a list of things that might happen, opposed to things you are going to make happen.
Frankly, there are now a ridiculous amount of “motivational speakers” and “coaches.”
Please, check out this Youtube video and watch the suggested video of Nick Vujicic. You will be inspired! The question becomes, what will you do with it?
