Freescale i.MX 6 families support

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 14, 2013 - Ronetix today launched  new PEEDI support for the  Freescale i.MX 6 series of processors. With the introduction of i.MX6 single-, dual- and quad-core families support, RONETIX provides customers with increased effectiveness in Flash programming and high speed GNU gdb debugging, expanded multicore support for up to 4 cores, and additional choice for Freescale processor architectures.

More specifically the PEEDI can be used with any GNU gdb based debugger Eclipse, without any additional software, which makes PEEDI host operating system independent. Additionally PEEDI supports programming of over 1000 NOR Flash chips, NAND Flash, SPI and I2C FLASH/EEPROM and can work in standalone mode.  

Furthermore the PEEDI supports several flash profiles, which enables the programming of a complete Linux system at once: U-BOOT, Linux Kernel and JFFS2/YAFFS/UBIFS root file system.

RONETIX's Embedded ICE solution is targeted for all phases of the development and is extensible for customers to easily firmware update for additional device architectures and processors.
