Lester Zalewski is running against veteran establishment figures in a quiet TV commercial-free event with the primary January 15. Unless there is an outright winner with 50% plus one vote, the first and second past the post will have a run-off.

Jan. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- VOTE for your bottom line Tuesday January 15.
Close Race for District 2 City Commissioner.
Sun Sentinel for sale as usual - Rupert Murdoch, c'mon down.

.
The Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel set new lows in journalism Friday.  Their reportage and editorial sold Fort Lauderdale voters short once again with their unconvincing second time support of former District 2 Commissioner Charlotte "bigger, better deal" Rodstrom.

She left her city post to run for a county seat only weeks after being appointed.  The resulting Special Election is costing us $250,000.  Rodstrom is renown for her walkouts and standup snowjobs.  All style and no substance.  Alas, the Sun Sentinel has neither.  Maybe that's why Dean Trantalis prefers to read The Miami Herald.

Once again the Sun Sentinel has come out in support for a candidate who many people say has let us down.

"Fool us once shame on you.  Fool us twice shame on us."

There are three other options this time, although some say Chuck Black is playing the  "Ferber"- spoiler to split former District 2 Commissioner Dean Trantalis's vote.  To be fair, he may not be aware of this, but his backers are close Rodstrom supporters.

Lester Zalewski says he will represent the public against the status quo - the big money special interest groups who are funneling all the money behind Black, Trantalis and Rodstrom to bombard us with advertising telling us how to think and how to vote.

Self made millionaire, condo management company owner Zalewski is supporting his low key campaign himself with YouTube videos, his campaign website, buttons and high impact posters proclaiming Good neighbors make good neighborhoods and asking folks to Vote the Bottom Line Jan 15.  Get it?

Zalewski is saying because he's not for the status-quo establishment - politicians feeding off special interests - like the Sun Sentinel - or squandering time in endless self-important do-nothing go-nowhere committee meetings - he will actually try convince his fellow commissioners to get things done.

"We don't need another committee on how to fix the beach, we need to take the sand that is above grade on the South and immediately truck it North", he stated at a large public meeting with State, County and City officials last month.  Now they're doing it, despite officials' resistance at the meeting.

Former CBA Vice-President  Lester Zalewski is  running against veteran establishment figures in a quiet TV commercial-free event with the primary January 15.  He says, the status-quo candidates are career politicians and can't afford to ruffle the feathers of the establishment.  There's too much downside to doing the right thing.

Fort Lauderdale is the "192nd toughest city in US to do business in" according to Forbes Magazine. Lester Zalewski talks about how to turnaround in this unedited  video clip http://youtu.be/T2mqrnllU7c

He is will look to the bottom line of the City but first he wants people to look to the BOTTOM LINE OF THE BALLOT JAN 15 and VOTE ZALEWSKI.
