China's first carbon neutral hotel featured in Spotlight on Sustainable Tourism journal

Jan. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The e-Journal Spotlight on Sustainable Tourism (SOST) announces the publication of its fourth issue today. Launched in March 2012, SOST has quickly made a place for itself in the sustainable tourism journalism space. Professionals from across the tourism value chain and members of the academic and student community from different parts of the world subscribe and read the free tourism publication.

SOST showcases destinations and travel companies which are making a conscious difference to the Planet with their sustainable business practices. In the first three issues, SOST travelled, physically and virtually, to India, Nepal, Thailand, Tunisia, Philippines and Sri Lanka to share best practices in sustainable tourism from three eco-resorts, an ecolodge, a dive resort and a tour operator.

In this current issue, SOST continues its journey to showcase Urbn Hotels Shanghai, China's first carbon-neutral hotel and EcoTravel Turkey, a tour operator promoting ecotourism to Turkey.
