Mr. Adams was inspired to create this awareness campaign due to his own neighborhood erupting in Celebratory Gunfire and also after learning about the death of 4 year old Marquel Peters as he fell victim of a Celebratory Bullet while sitting in a Georgia Church in New Years Eve 2010. Every year the list of victims grow due to Celebratory Gunfire. Mr. Adams has started a petition on Whitehouse.gov to ask the Obama administration to address this widespread public safety issue in the US. Adams is pushing for a national public safety educational program that will educate the public on the dangers of Celebratory Gunfire. Adams believes with this approach we can outreach to those that are engaging in this activity and encourage them to stop engaging in this activity.
"As each year passes, we lose more inoscent victims due to Celebratory Gunfire" Adams says. Mr. Adams encourages all that have a problem with Celebratory Gunfire in their neighborhoods to sign this petition. Adams says "Being inside a home does not guarantee our safety".
