This year’s scholarship application will be available for students to download from the website www.tripodfoundation.org. The application and all supplemental materials must be received by March 15, 2013 and should be mailed to the Tripod Foundation’s P.O. Box. “The scholarship committee is very excited about the 2013 Award Cycle,” says Steve Mobley. “Each year, we receive so many applications and our decision is often times very hard to make--this is a good thing. We hope that this year is no different and look forward to awarding funds to deserving students!”
Past recipients of this scholarship have been academic scholars as well as high achievers in extracurricular and community activities. All students must have a 3.0 or better GPA based on a 4.0 scale and write an essay as outlined in the application.
