AFCON 2013 Mobile App Released

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 12, 2013 - Africa's biggest soccer showcase, the Africa Cup of Nations kicks of on Saturday 19 January 2013 in South Africa. Millions of football lovers across the continent will now be able to follow their countries on their mobile devices following the release by FootballZone (http://www.footballzone.co.zw) of the one of a kind mobile phone app that provides coverage of the tournament.

The application is available on nearly all Nokia phones and can be downloaded from the Nokia Store (http://store.ovi.com/content/249086).

This unique app features live text commentary for all matches, group standings, fixtures, match results, full team profiles and detailed tournament statistics. The live commentary feature will be quite useful as fans will be able to follow matches on the go wherever they are. This is especially so as many of the group matches start at 5PM when people are traveling home from work.
