On January 8, Edgemere residents were treated to an evening of information and education on the Perot Museum by Val Hawes. Mr. Hawes is an independent architect who has acted as the museum’s counsel and as a liaison between the museum and the design and construction team. He has been on the Perot Museum project for five years, and in previous years, served in the same role for the Nasher, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and the Arboretum. Howard Parker, Edgemere resident and fellow architect expressed Val’s continued city support and efforts, saying, “Ray Nasher exposed Val’s talents and abilities to the city of Dallas, and we have all benefited from that.”
