Teens to hear leadership and coaching experts at Get Your Voice On! Women’s Conference, March 1- 2

Jan. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY -- Teen girls, ages 16-19, are welcome to come on a special Mother/Daughter ticket combo to the celebrity-filled, Get Your Voice On! A Celebration of Women Conference, on Friday and Saturday, March 1-2, at the Hilton New York in Manhattan.

The teens will be inspired by powerful and successful keynote speakers MSNBC host, author and business woman JJ Ramberg, Lindsay Wagner, accomplished actress, author and business woman and Debbi Fields, founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies and CEO of a multi-million dollar business.

Leading the one-hour interactive teen break-out sessions are management consultant and leadership expert,  Holly Landau, CEO and founder of Landau Leadership and executive speech coach and media trainer/consultant Diane DiResta, President of DiResta Communications, Inc., a consulting and training firm serving national and international business leaders.

Landau is a former U.S. Army Officer who served as spokesperson for the Department of Defense and media relations officer for the Defense Logistics Agency in the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. as well as in other locations across the United States. She was awarded the prestigious Meritorious Service Medal for her accomplishments while serving in the Public Affairs Office of the Secretary of the Army.  In 2008 she decided to take all the great military leadership training and corporate training she learned and create a curriculum for corporate leadership. In doing so, she began to successfully attract premiere clients and was included in an American Express Small Business OPEN Book on Leadership where she was selected as the featured leadership expert. She was also interviewed and quoted as a leadership expert by journalists from the Wall Street Journal and the Harvard Business Review. Landau has motivated thousands of corporate and non-profit employees and executives throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. She also teaches a program for teen girls called My Pink Pizza which provides a curriculum to encourage and grow their confidence and leadership skills.

Best-selling author DiResta is an award-winning speaker and past president of the NYC Chapter of the National Speakers Association and consults and speaks with employees and executives of high-level national and international corporations both in the U.S. and abroad.  She has authored two books, the best-selling Knockout Presentations: How to Deliver Your Message with Power, Punch, and Pizzazz and a widely-used college text book, Conversations on Success. She taught at both Cornell University and NYU. She also serves on the advisory board of Enterprising Women magazine and New York Center for Interpersonal Development, a Staten Island non-profit that provides community dispute resolution services and youth programs. The limited mother/daughter combo packages are available for either a one-day event at $397 or $497 after the early bird discount has expired after Jan. 31, or the full one-and-a-half day event at $647 ($797 after Jan. 31). Meals for breakfast and lunch on Saturday are included with the tickets.
