PRLog - Jan. 10, 2013 - LOS ANGELES -- On January 10th, 2013 fine artist Kristine Mueller Griffith launched her second Kickstarter project. She has until Jan.27th to raise $3,400, the same amount she raised in 10 days on her first project. This time around, a bit wiser, she has allowed herself more time to breathe, and get the word out.
Progression of the "Southwest Red Train" Oil Painting
The $3,400 goal (minus 8-10% taken out by Kickstarter and Amazon payments) will fund the materials and time necessary to complete six new large scale oil paintings on the subject of the American West. The paintings are titled "Southwest Red Train", "Sunset Mountain Silhouette", "Where the Buffalo Roam", "Malibu Beach Sunset", "Southwest Landscape", and "Pacific Ocean Sunset". Additionally, the rewards for backers of the project will be paid for out of the money raised. In return for contributing to the project the artist offers several rewards ranging from special thank you's on her website, social media sites, and Youtube videos, as well as giclee prints in various sizes, and original paintings.
The paintings from Mueller Griffith's last Kickstarter project have been shown in four galleries, sold, and hang in the Santa Paula Museum of Art. You can see Kristine's Kickstarter project at the following link http://www.kickstarter.com/
