PRLog - Jan. 10, 2013 - BALTIMORE -- Heart Disease is one of the leading causes of death among women; in fact an estimated 42 million women are living with undiagnosed and subsequently untreated heart disease. The month of February has traditionally been acknowledged as the month to bring an increased awareness to this often-silent killer. A trip to your physician’s office for something as routine as a blood pressure check could provide the first insight that you may be suffering from the disease. Come out to support the Center for Remarkable Women as they increase awareness about heart health.

About Rev. Valerie Pearson
To say Rev. Pearson is a visionary is a bit of an understatement for the woman who not only authored the book A Remarkable Woman, Discovering an Authentic You! She is also the founder of the Remarkable Women ministry. Birthed at the New Psalmist Baptist Church, the ministry has grown to encompass over a dozen churches across Baltimore and has been a tremendous blessing to women who are on the road to self-discovery through a more intimate relationship with HIM.
