Viewers will see how Tank Booster Raises Temperature of Water Heater

(Pompano Beach, FL – PR LOG – January 10, 2013) A solution for a common plumbing problem is addressed on Designing Spaces™, the popular home improvement show on Lifetime TV on Friday. Tune in on January 11th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) as The Tank Booster product from Cash Acme is featured in the segment “Innovative Plumbing Solutions for Today’s Homeowner.”

The Tank Booster is a new type of valve that solves a common problem that many homeowners can relate to, “How do I get more hot water without replacing my water heater?” Mike Ventimiglia, Master Plumber, will meet up with homeowners to show them and Designing Spaces™ viewers-- whether they live in a house, apartment or condo -- how the Tank Booster allows them to get more usable hot water from their water heaters with upgrades or turning up the thermostat.

The key to the Tank Booster is that it mixes the hot supply and cold supply to give more usable 120° water. The valve comes factory set at 120° to maintain the same temperature setting inspectors require for water heaters, but the valve may be set anywhere between 90° and 130°. The higher tank temperature not only provides more hot water but it also helps to prevent the growth of bacteria such as legionella in the water supply.

This segment is scheduled to re-air on February 14th 2013 at 7:30 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime TV.
