Rahm Emanuel Honors the Concierge of Chicago with Concierge Day.

, has come together with the mayor’s office to pay homage to the important work that concierge do to make Chicago an international travel destination and one of the best cities for tourists in the world. From their work at apartment buildings, condos, hotels, and other public buildings, concierge throughout the Windy City are the face of Chicago. They help citizens and visitors in countless ways, providing directions, advice, safety, and other services that help make the city and the lives of everyone in it run smoothly and conveniently.

The economic impact of Chicago’s concierge cannot be overstated, with nearly 5 million referrals including over 1.3 million dining recommendations, 1.1 million shopping suggestions, and 1.2 million referrals to the myriad cultural events and attractions going on year round throughout the Chicagoland.
