Stock Code - Feature Film in Pre-Production

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 10, 2013 - (London) - Production house T+1 Media wishes to announce that short film "Stock Code" will be turned into a feature film. Based on the stockmarket, the film is relevant to the current financial climate and is an interesting spin on the industry.

Stock Code is a emotional drama / thriller that unearths raw greed and revenge. The film highlights the day to day struggle of an apple farmer's son, who has recently taken over the family business. Whilst his family is vacationing in France, Peter Howell (the lead character) adopts new farming techniques and ideas that he has learnt whilst at university in London. These prove disastrous and plunge the farm into financial ruin.
To dig his way out of this predicament, Peter decides to invest in a company on the stock market. Unbeknownst to him, the stockbroker has sold him an investment which has limited growth potential. Peter's anger and emotions take over, and he is forced to ask for help from his ex girlfriend. He has one last card up his sleeve and he hopes this plan will regain his pride, money and relationship.
