PLANT-BASED SOLUTIONS TO HOLD LAUNCH PARTY
New Sales and Marketing Firm to Represent Companies in Growing Vegan Foods Industry
NEW YORK, N.Y. (January 8, 2012) – On Saturday, January 12, Plant-Based Solutions will host its official launch party where it will showcase foods from some of the nation’s top vegan food companies that it represents.
The firm was founded to provide sales and marketing support to the booming industry for plant-based foods, which is responding to growing consumer demand for healthy dining options. According to Mintel, between 2001 and 2011, the annual US retail market for vegetarian foods grew from $885 million to $1.6 billion. According to Plant-Based Solutions Founder and CEO David Benzaquen, “with growing appreciation for the power of our food choices to influence our health, the environment and the welfare of animals, the market for plant-based foods has never been more exciting.”
The party will include cocktails and catering provided by New York-area caterers Chickpea & Olive featuring a delicious array of foods from renowned companies like Gardein, Chicago Vegan Foods, The Vegg, Treeline Cheese and DF Mavens. Guests in attendance will include top vegan business owners, restaurateurs and chefs. The event will take place at the Metropolitan Community Church at 446 West 36th Street, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
