Dr. Perry, recognized by U.S. News & World Report, as principal of one of the best performing high schools in the nation, was featured on CNN’s documentary, “Black in America” and can be seen on Anderson Cooper 360 and American Morning. He will offer an empowering discussion with a rare combination of scholarly and community activism.
The 2013 Eagle Award Ceremony, the Chamber’s annual signature event, will bring together hundreds of attendees, including entrepreneurs, community business leaders, public officials, and major corporate sponsors. Themed “Soaring Higher: Getting to the Next Level,” this ceremony represents the 7th year of celebrating valuable contributions made by business professionals in Central Florida communities. The event will heighten the awareness of business excellence and economic vitality in diverse communities, while showcasing individuals with outstanding accomplishments and entrepreneurial success.
