Benstock also attributed part of the dealership group’s repeated triumphs in CPO sales to Paragon’s on-going Vehicle Exchange Program, which allows current Honda and Acura owners to upgrade to a new model for a monthly payment lower or similar to their current one. The program’s success has kept Paragon stocked with high-quality certified pre-owned Honda and Acura vehicles. Additionally, the program helped Paragon Honda and Paragon Acura combined to sell 11,476 new and used vehicles last year – an average of nearly 32 vehicles sold per day.
In becoming the highest-selling dealership in the country, Paragon Honda sold over 70 percent more certified pre-owned Hondas in 2012 than the second-ranked dealership. Paragon was the only dealership to reach the 2,000-vehicle benchmark in 2012 with 2,756 certified pre-owned Hondas sold. The dealership was also the only one to sell 200 certified pre-owned Hondas for the month of December 2012.
On the Acura side, Paragon sold 1,053 certified pre-owned Acuras in 2012, nearly 50 percent more than the second-ranked dealership. It was the only dealership to sell over 1,000 certified pre-owned Acuras.
