Jan. 9, 2013 - The Mary Anne Mazanec Ovarian Cancer Foundation (MAMOCF) has announced that CVS Caremark has chosen the organization to receive a community grant.
In accepting this contribution on behalf of the organization, MAMOCF Executive Council President Tom Mazanec, stated, “We are honored and thrilled to have CVS recognize the importance of supporting women afflicted with this truly horrific disease. It is companies like CVS that can and do make a difference in the lives of those who may be suffering.”
The Mary Anne Mazanec Ovarian Cancer Foundation (http://www.mamocf.org)
provides resources and support directly to those who are stricken with this relatively rare, but often fatal form of cancer. The Cinnaminson, NJ-based organization was founded in 2009 in memory of Mary Anne Mazanec whose entire life was dedicated to helping those less fortunate among the South Jersey community. At least 90 percent of the money raised by the organization goes directly to the women who request assistance.
