“For almost 22 years, I’ve had the privilege of working at ScottMadden, and I cannot imagine having had a more meaningful and fulfilling experience anywhere else,” said Mr. Poston. “I am humbled to have been one of its leaders, and as I leave full-time work, I am gratified the firm is in the strong hands of Brad Kitchens, our president, and the entire ScottMadden team.” When asked how he will spend his retirement hours, Mr. Poston replied, “I will continue my church leadership responsibilities as President of Church Council, spend more time with my wife, children, and grandchildren, and take full advantage of my lake house.”
Brad Kitchens, president and CEO of ScottMadden, said, “Sam has been a close friend and colleague since my arrival at ScottMadden more than 20 years ago. You cannot replace somebody like Sam—you continue to build on his successes and that’s what we’ll do. We wish him all the best in his retirement. He’s earned it.”
