Soul Vomit: Domestic Violence Aftermath - 2013 anthology submissions now open!

With the first Soul Vomit annual anthology published, it's time to plan, submit, and begin work on the next one. Broken Publications hopes for double the number of submissions or more, with a larger volume to be printed in December of 2013.

Jan. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2013 volume of Soul Vomit has opened submissions and is anticipating a much higher submission rate than in 2012. With marketing efforts being increased exponentially in 2013, the hope is that the anthology will be widely purchased, passed on, and gifted to those who need encouragement and strength, suffer in silence, or simply want to know they are not alone in their struggle.

With a working title of Soul Vomit: Domestic Violence Aftermath, the submission guidelines have changed slightly and story word count limit has been increased to 5,000 instead of the previous 2,000. More specific guidelines have been put in place for prose, essays, and poetry as well.

Another more important update is an option to immediately submit a release form in the submission form for writers and artists who are unable to safely communicate via email from their home computers.

To submit your work and be part of the next Soul Vomit annual anthology, read all of our submissions guidelines at http://www.soulvomit.com/submissions.html and then proceed to the submission manager at https://brokenpublications.submittable.com/submit/18340.
