New training opportunity for all mining industry participants

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 8, 2013 - Due to a new partnership between two major industry players, the New Year will see an exciting opportunity for all mining industry people to benefit from specialist training - including online webinars, podcasts and case studies – and it won’t cost you a cent.
Mining IQ is delighted to announce a new partnership for 2013 with BP Australia (http://www.miningiq.com/environment-and-community/article...). This initiative will involve conference presentations and workshops, online webinars, podcasts and case studies. The first, a mining industry webinar will be launched in February and will cover best strategies for managing fuel price risk.

Webinars will be available to Mining IQ members and the rest of the global mining industry for no charge throughout 2013. Mining IQ Editor, Jacquie Bran says “the partnership will deliver excellent training resources to the mining industry. The BP Australia webinar schedule shows there will be something for everyone to learn.”

BP Australia is an energy company involved in a wide range of activities, such as exploring for and producing natural gas and crude oil resources, refining and marketing petroleum products, producing lubricants.

Its downstream business is centred on refineries near Brisbane and Perth, a large commercial sales business and a network of almost 1,400 service stations throughout Australia. The company is a major supplier of aviation fuel, marine fuel and bitumen.
