"Unsolicited Encounters: The Guardian Angel" - Do You Believe in Angels?

Jan. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Grandpa George must explain something very important to his 17-year-old grandson, John. He sits the boy down and tells him what happened to him when he turned 17, and what will soon be happening to John. You see, Grandpa George has a guardian angel!

Unsolicited Encounters: The Guardian Angel takes place in Macon County, Georgia. Back in the 1930s during the Great Depression, Grandpa George worked on Mr. Charles Higgonbottom’s farm, the same house that Grandpa lives in now. Higgonbottom was also the president of the town bank. Forced to join the Ku Klux Khan, he turned against them one night when they tried to burn down Grandpa’s house. In retaliation, the banker was killed by the Klan.

Though he went to heaven, God sent him back to be Grandpa’s guardian angel. George learned that his papa had a guardian angel and that his papa’s papa had a guardian angel. While Grandpa is telling the story, Mr. Higgonbottom is sitting right next to him, and next to the guardian angel sits a lady. She is John’s guardian angel and he is about to meet her. This beautifully told story about continuity through the generations also shows that good can overcome evil.
