Kirtland, OH – January 7, 2013 – The Herb Society of America, a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the education and use of herbs, has launched an ‘Herb of the Month’ program. Each month they will feature a variety of information on the dedicated herb through their website (www.herbsociety.org)
“We want people to be as excited about herbs as we are,” states Katrinka Morgan. “The Herb of the Month is a great way for people to get more acquainted with some of our favorite herbs. It delivers educational materials in manageable bites.”
Founded in 1933, The Herb Society of America is dedicated to promoting the knowledge, use and delight of herbs through educational programs, research and sharing information with the community. The Society is committed to protecting the global environment for the health and wellbeing of humankind and all growing things, and encourages gardeners to practice environmentally sound horticulture.
