Delaware Humane Association to hold 7th Annual Muttini Mixer on March 23, 2013

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 8, 2013 - You and your dog  are cordially invited to “mix and mingle” at Delaware Humane Association’s 7th Annual Muttini Mixer, a fun cocktail party fundraising event being held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 5:30 to 9 pm at the Delaware Center for Horticulture, 1810 North Dupont Street, Wilmington, DE, 19806.

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres by Piccolina Toscana Catering with celebrity chef Dan Butler, cocktails (cash bar), silent auction, and pet portraits at this popular dog-friendly soiree! The Muttini Mixer was chosen as "Best Event for Animal Lovers — Upstate" in Delaware Today's 2010 Best of Delaware Awards!

The cost is $55 per person (includes one drink) or $75 per person (open bar). Dogs are welcome and must be on a leash. Dressy attire encouraged for both people and pets.

All proceeds benefit Delaware Humane Association. DHA receives no government funding and relies on the support of the community in the form of volunteers, private donations, bequests, grants, and fundraising events like the Muttini Mixer to fulfill their mission of providing for the needs of homeless dogs and cat by offering temporary shelter, low cost spay/neuter services and vaccination clinics, humane education programs, and adoption/placement services.
