Last year, nearly 700 couples from seven countries around the world re-joined each other in holy matrimony in a multilingual wedding vow renewal ceremony. The current world record is held by the University of Miami with 1,087 couples.
Ripley’s 2012 wedding vow record attempt
Registration begins at Ripley’s at 11:00 am, located at 19 San Marco Ave., and the ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm. Couples will receive a free carnation, a cup of biodegradable confetti to throw after the ceremony,

Photographers will be on hand to take photos of the couples and there is no charge to participate in this event. Each couple needs to bring a photo copy of their original wedding certificate and a photo ID.
