Best Selling Author Kenni York to Appear at Atlanta Metropolitan State College

Jan. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- On Thursday January 17, 2013 Atlanta Metropolitan College in Atlanta, Georgia will be hosting a two hour reading and book signing for local author Kenni York. Following the reading, there will be a personal meet and greet with the author. Kenni is expected to read excerpts from several of her titles including her best seller The Girls and her poetry anthology A Girl's Perspective. The event is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm.

Author Kenni York has penned eight books ranging from murder mystery, poetry, and urban drama.  Through her works she aspires to educate, enlighten, and entertain her audiences.  Kenni enjoys attending and speaking at open forums for new and aspiring writers.

"Some people in the industry don't feel an obligation to give back, for whatever reasons," says Kenni. "I realize that I haven't gotten as far as I have without help from others...so if I can advise or inspire someone else in anyway, then I feel that I should do just that."

Kenni owns and operates an independent literary and publishing company, Kenni Enterprises LLC.  The business conducts creative writing classes for youth and adults, provides consultations to aspiring writers, and also offers proofreading / copy-editing, publishing, ghost writing, and freelance project services.
