The International Cat Show and Food Drive for the Oregon Food Bank, January 25th-27th, 2013

Jan. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The International Cat Show and Food Drive for the Oregon Food Bank invites you to appreciate the variety and coolness of feline beauty from around the world. The show will take place on Friday, January 25th, Saturday, January 26th and Sunday, January 27th. Friday's show hours will be from 4 pm to 9 pm and Saturday/Sunday hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm. The event will take place at the Holiday Inn at Portland Airport Conference Center, 8439 NE Columbia Blvd. The admission is $5.00, plus two cans for the Oregon Food Bank or $7.00 without food. Children under 12 are FREE.

Last year, more than 250 cats and their breeders came from around the globe to compete in this highly anticipated weekend cat show. This year, the show will be bigger and better than ever, expecting over 300 unique cats! Savannahs, the Sphynx, Maine Coons, Pixie-Bobs, Bengals and Kurilian Bobtails will be uniting to show off their feline beauty at this years show.

Several rescue groups will have a large variety of happy, healthy kittens and cats available for adoption. These shelter cats will be competing for cash and prizes; charming spectators to vote for them as “Favorite Cat in Show”.

Numerous vendors will offer wares for the demanding, pampered, and much loved, house cat. Darcelle XV will be a Guest Judge for the Best-of-the-Best Presentation Sunday at 4 pm. Also, the first 100 spectators each day will receive a gift bag from Pet Pros, valued at over $20.
