Writers Got Talent Contest for Authors

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 7, 2013 - Bruce Goldwell is about to launch a contest for Authors called Writer's Got Talent.  As of the date of this press release, almost 30 authors have registered to take part in the contest.  Each week, authors will be eliminated until one last author remains.  Goldwell is offering an Amazon Gift Card as one of the prizes for the winner and the amount of the Gift Card will continue to grow throughout the duration of the contest.  The original value of the card was set at $25 however that is now up to $40.  What the final value of the card will be by the end of the Contest, no one knows.  

Bruce created the Writer's Got Talent contest to help authors taking part in the Contest to get more exposure for their books.  Each week, authors have a different challenge and they will be asking friends and fans to come and vote for them.  Goldwell also plans to have special offers for those that visit the Contest pages to vote for their favorite author.

The first contest is called Season I.  Goldwell is hoping that the first Season will go so well that he can start a Season II later this year.  There are still a few slots available for authors to register to be in the Contest and there is also a way for companies to get some very inexpensive advertising on the site too.  For as little as $1, a person or company can get listed on the site with their company name and web site link.  All funds are used to increase the value of the Amazon Gift Card being offered in the Contest.
