College Planning Workshop To Benefit The Austin High School Band

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 7, 2013 - FORT BEND ISD - If you have children entering college and are deciding how to finance their education, prepare to attend the “Learn How to Make College Affordable” workshop hosted by the College Money Guys. The workshop will be held Thursday, January 31, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, in the Austin High School Auditorium (3434 Pheasant Creek Drive, Sugar Land, 77498). The cost is $20 per family (maximum four members per family). All proceeds from the workshop will benefit the Austin High School “Bulldog” Band.

The workshop will educate parents of college bound (or younger) students (regardless of academic rank) on little-known ways to acquire money for college. The College Money Guys will provide information regarding how to avoid the single biggest mistake that 9 out of 10 parents make when planning for college, secrets to sending your child to a private or public college for less than the cost of a junior college, and more. The information will be helpful to families of all income levels and walks of life.
