To make it past the first round, artists must sell a minimum of 15 online tickets. Those that succeed move to a video round. Artists will upload a video explaining why they want and deserve to win. The video with the most votes scores a coveted spot as an opening act. Check out the action on Twitter using the hashtag #underdogshustle or #stalleyindallas.
"Dallas has a lot of unrecognized talent and I wanted to give them a chance to be heard" says Cody. He plans to continue the contest with each concert he produces and hopes the creative idea will set Intelligent Grind apart while rewarding local artists with a great opportunity.
Stalley returns to Dallas for the second time, brought to you again by Collins Management Group & Intelligent Grind Promotions. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm in the Big Room at The Prophet Bar in Deep Ellum located at 2513 Main St Dallas, TX 75226. Pre-sale tickets are available online at www.intelligentgrind.com for $18. You can also pick up tickets at the following outlets: Centre in Mockingbird Station, The Fade Shop off Dallas Parkway, and The UNT Student Union in Denton.
