Murray & Guari Supports Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County

West Palm Beach, FL – Murray & Guari is a proud contributor and supporter of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County Inc.’s 2012-2013 Campaign for Equal Justice.

The Campaign for Equal Justice provides necessary legal services to the most needy in Palm Beach County. Services often include help in legal matters involving domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, foreclosure, wage theft, aging out of foster care and benefits for the elderly and disabled.

In 2012, Legal Aid reported that attorneys and law firm’s like Murray & Guari throughout Palm Beach County provided free legal assistance (pro bono services) to 1400 disadvantaged children, families, seniors and individuals and raised more than $380,000 to support legal services to the poor in the community, through their 2011-2012 Campaign for Equal Justice.

It’s very important that all community members have equal access to the courts to protect their rights,” said Attorney and Legal Aid Society Board Member Scott Murray (http://www.murrayguari.com/Scott_C._Murray). It’s through efforts like this campaign, that the necessary funds are raised so that the more than 130,000 residents, who are eligible for Legal Aid’s services, can get the help they need.

Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide equal access to the judicial system for those who are disadvantaged, so as to protect their personal safety, enhance their opportunities and living conditions and promote self-sufficiency.
