Wind Out, Hookdiggy's live-instrumented, return-to-form hip-hop track released today

Jan. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA - 'Wind Out', the second single from critically acclaimed hip-hop artist Hookdiggy is available for download exclusively on iTunes today.

Hookdiggy, known for his savvy lyrics and spirited rhyming style, is joined on this radio-friendly track by R&B artist Ceedro, who croons a sly dare to confront life clear-headed instead of simply winding out.

Co-written with fellow hip-hop artist, Pain Phree, Hookdiggy describes the basic concept of the song as "relaxing and taking your mind off of your current woes and chillin' out to the beat of your drum". That thought is echoed in the lyric 'Whatcha thinking about/Put your drink down/Get into yourself/Can you feel it now?'

Further reinforcement is the single's booming horn intro, driving percussion and bass-heavy groove; live instrumentation rarely heard in today's hip-hop. Notable appearances by renowned Denmark bassist, MarloweDK and drummer Ron Otis (Kem, Earl Klugh) provide a solid foundation for the track's stirring lyrics and expressive performances.
