What to Do When $1 Seemingly Makes All the Difference in the World. Kickstarter101

1-A-Chord.org launches mobile app to the religious and faith based community. Developer uses crowd funding site Kickstarter to publicize the national launch of the project.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 7, 2013 - Christian start up tackles the learning curve to educate a niche fairly new to the realm of crowd funding in order to gain support for the national launch of a Christian based mobile application.

The 1-A-Chord Mobile Music app (http://www.1-A-Chord.org) for church choirs is a tool fashioned to meet the global needs of the Ministry of Music within the church.  The popularity of the concept and the excitement shared during the beta testing phase of the application has been fantastic.  The  forward thinking developers have launched a project on the highly popular crowd funding site Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1achord/1-a-chord-mus...) to fund the national launch of the application.

Kickstarter could be a godsend for this small start up venture while introducing its target audience to the popular crowd funding site. So a few key items on the process and we hope that the faith based community will embrace the process and show support on this platform to this and other projects aimed at the benefit of the faith based and religious communities.

·Each project can only succeed with 100% funding.  99% of the goal=$0.00  The belief is underfunded projects have a lower probability of being able to succeed. Every dollar counts!

·Backers (ie: donors) only actually remit their funds if the project is 100% funded.  So go ahead and make your pledge with the understanding that you will only be backing a successfully funded project.

·Time is of the essence: All projects are time sensitive all pledges of donations must be made while the clock is ticking (in our case by January 21, 2013)

Custom designed to meet the individual needs of a church the app has the ability to provide: lyrics, individual vocal parts, calendar engagements, video, leadership contact roster, attire, social media feeds, devotionals, PUSH notifications and more. All information can be fed in advance of rehearsals or events to allow for timely notices and preparation. Said information will automatically update in the smartphone of the user. Information can be updated monthly weekly or daily. PUSH notifications can be sent at will for up to the minute updates; changes in attire, song selection or the cancellation or a rehearsal or service. Apps can be tailored not only to each church’s ministry but each ministry’s choirs.  Praise Team members may need much more music than any one choir.  The children’s choir’s parents may not need the selections from the male chorus, the Young Adults may love the social media capability that may not yet be suitable for the Youth.  Each choir’s app can meet it’s choirs needs and all can be managed by a single administrator.  The apps have been tested on live ministries to great results and are available for customization.  While currently available for sale, the app is set to host its formal launch at the Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conference in Atlanta, GA in February 2013.

Apps are priced dependent on number of apps created and number of modules utilized on an app and start at an affordable $29 per month plus a small setup/customization fee.  All are operable on iOS, Android and Windows Platforms.

For more information on the app please visit 1-A-Chord.org and to support its launch event please visit the App’s Kickstarter page: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1achord/1-a-chord-music-minstry-mobile-app-launch
