Follow on Google News | Industry Management announces new MDIndustri Management, which manages Battersea Power Station, has promoted its co-founder Tarek Gjonnes MD. Gjonnes co-founded the venue management business in 2008. He will focus on managing the implementation of the board’s growth strategy.
Tarek brings over 12 years' experience of working across all fields of the events industry. He has had the pleasure of working with some of the top suppliers in the industry and premium events both in the UK and abroad such as Formula 1 and the Cannes film festival. In 2008 he co-founded Industri Management, which is now one of the leading Venue Management and Place Making companies in the UK specialising in promoting and managing high-profile, complex buildings as successful, profitable locations. Industri exclusively manages two of London’s most filmed-in commercial buildings, Battersea Power Station and the Farmiloe Building, EC1 with a wide variety of filmmakers, most recently Tom Hooper, Guy Ritchie, Terry Gilliam, Christopher Nolan and Mike Leigh. Battersea Power Station, a popular events venue hosted a wide variety of high profile events in 2012 including The Elton John Grey Goose Winter Ball, The Relentless Freeze Festival, Rovio’s Angry Birds launch and the Cancer Research - Shine Marathon. The appointment comes as Industri Management expands their operation after a very successful 2012 and has also appointed three other executives in Marketing, Sales and Operations.
