B4G will be Providing Coats for the Homeless on January 26th 2013

Coat For the Cold at Bound 4 Glory Ministries

A Pastor in Houston has pulled together with his Ministry and local business's to collect coats that will be given the homeless on January 26th. The goal is to raise enough  coats, sweaters, and jackets to ensure no homeless person has to suffer the cold weather to come.

Pastors Manuel and Tanika Mukes were part of the tragic Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The Pastors are transparent in sharing the difficulty of transition of such a tragic experience. Helping the homeless, and less fortunate is something that they encourage the Houston community to assist with.

The Pastors who are known by their congregations AS the “go-getters” did not stay in a poverty stricken state long. They think back on how much worse it would have been if no one stepped in to assist. Pastor Mukes made the remark,” We are going to make less fortunate families smile on December 233rd by having a benefit concert. The very excited Pastor named the event the Heavenly Holiday Christmas Concert! It was a great success, now; they are tackling The Coat For The Cold Drive.

Pastor Mukes tells his congregation: “Smiles are contagious, and if you are willing to make a selfless act of kindness to smile or to reach out a helping hand the reward is much greater than anything you can ever imagine. Dreams still do manifest. The Pastors have gone as far as Declaring, "Bound 4 Glory Ministries will be living their dreams in 2013!"

Leaders of the Ministry will be heading out at 11:30 am on January 26th 2013 to pass out coats from 4508 Highway 6 N. Houston Texas. We want to get as much coverage on this story as possible for business owners can join us by contributing a donation towards the cause by bringing a coat, sweater, or jacket, or blanket.
