The contest begins Monday, January 7, 2013 and all entries must be received by midnight PST on Sunday, February 3, 2013. Bushfire Grill welcomes all U.S. residents over the age of 18 to compete.
Rules: The salad recipe entry must be an original recipe created by the person entering the contest and must not have been previously published. The recipe must contain ingredients that are seasonally available, organic and can be sourced locally. The recipe must also be easily multiplied (for foodservice quantities). Entrant must list all ingredients in exact common U.S. household measurements and include step-by-step preparation instructions. The Bushfire Grill culinary team will test the submissions and three finalists will be chosen. The final winner will be announced at a luncheon event (February date to be determined), and final recipes will be evaluated by a panel of judges. Winner must be in attendance to win. The winner will receive a $100 Bushfire Grill gift card to return to the restaurant, have their winning salad featured on the Bushfire Grill menu for a limited time - along with bragging rights!
