Chris Devin is an embattled mentally ill man from Florida. While struggling to sort out his own problems, Chris must also fight the forces of the CIA, the F.B.I., a former President of the United States, Satan and his followers, a dozen or more attempted murderers, and scores of aliens from all over the universe. All the while, he must combat his own devastating health issues.
The Man Who Saved the Planet shows both aliens and psychotic individuals in an entirely new light. The book also contains a sobering, sane, detailed and ultimately, very useful essay about how to combat and recover from a psychosis. This humorous, engaging, and informative book will leave you not just entertained, but also with a better overall understanding of what it’s like to be mentally ill.
What readers are saying on Amazon: “Whatever you think you know about sanity or insanity, you might want to reconsider. Cameron Chambers walks the very fine line between a man living his dream and a man living with madness, though sometimes it's hard to tell which is which. Touching, funny, painful, insightful and imminently readable!” – Libby Gill
“What an awesome book! Very fast-paced, kept me engaged the whole time. I'm thinking it would make a good Christmas present for my book lover friends.” – Bob Jones
“You will be intrigued by the deranged adventure in the maniacal world of this man’s head. Funny, gripping, a story not to tell your grandchildren. Five stars for an in depth description on what its like to be ill. Perhaps maybe you should explain this to your grandchildren.”
