- Jan. 4, 2013 - CHARLOTTE, N.C. --
On New Year’s Eve, several of Charlotte’s Uptown bars hosted Queen City revelers, as they prepared to welcome 2013. One of these bars was Fitzgerald’s Irish Pub, located on 201 East 5th Street. Fitzgerald’
s is an Irish pub located in the heart of Uptown, and, open seven days of week, it provides unique ambiance, delicious food, and a positive environment to diners and nightlife alike. In fact, Fitzgerald’s has earned such positive repute that the Charlotte Center City Partners (CCCP) feature it on the website, where they list the top things to do in Charlotte.
For their New Year’s Eve event, partygoers purchased tickets for an affordable less than $70 before the evening and for $100 at the door. With these tickets, they were given access to an all-you-can-
drink soda and alcohol bar, as well as to an all-you-can-
eat breakfast bar. The night began promptly at 9 p.m., when the entryway was lined with attendees in sequined dresses and tuxedos.
Inside the bar, guests were welcomed with an array of tables for socializing, a buzzing dance floor with a live dj, and, most importantly, an open bar! The night ended at 2 a.m., long after an exchange of New Year’s cheers, hugs, and kisses (and flutes of champagne, courtesy of Fitzgerald’s)
, and all in attendance were grateful to have spent it at such a happenin’ Charlotte pub.
