Meru Plus tries crowd-sourcing with Jade Magnet

Jan. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Meru Plus, India’s first pay-per-use car rental service, is using crowd-sourcing to create visual branding and spatial design for its recently launched car rental service. Using Jade Magnet, India’s first and a growing creative crowd-sourcing platform, Meru Plus has started a campaign to seek design inputs for creative material that can be printed or otherwise fabricated - and can be placed/fitted inside Meru Plus cars to represent the its brand, Meru Plus.

“Designers have been asked to look at this as a spatial / interior design challenge. They must look at interiors of cars like Tata Manza, Toyota Etios or Maruti Swift D'zire and design material that can bring the Meru Plus brand alive inside the cars.” Says Meru Plus spokes person. Further to this, he added, “Since the attempt is to create a unique brand property inside the car, we want to try going to the crowd and getting the best of creative ideas that can give distinct visibility to the brand. Working on this campaign with multiple designers is just our way of brining unique perspectives to the market”.

Jade Magnet has been working with a number of SME and national brands for the past 3 years and was an early starter in the creative crowd-sourcing area in India. “We have been working with a number of businesses to use crowd-sourcing for delivering creative collateral and brand designs for the last three years.
