"The YMCA is much more than a gym," says Katie Beck, executive director at the Miller Y. "You can not only lose weight and tone up but it's a place to spend time with your family, make friends and provide value-based activities for your children."
The Miller Y free membership runs from January 12 through January 19.
Facility tours will take place during the open house and program information will be available. A drawing will be held for a free three-month membership.
"Becoming more active and fit are goals of many of us at the start of a new year, "says Beck. "The Y provides the programs, instruction, training equipment and encouragement needed to help meet these goals and to lead an overall healthy lifestyle."
