Tri-Hex® Pallet Runners Expand To Dallas/Ft Worth Area

Jan. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Lorain, OH January 3, 2013 -- Tri-Hex Pallet Runner manufacturing recently broke ground in Texas with quicker production times and reduced freight costs to customers in the South and Southwest. Pallet runners will be manufactured and shipped in partnership with Custom Paper Tube SW, Inc. from their factory in Arlington,Texas.

The expansion fills a need from Kapston Corrugated, in Dallas, Texas for ready-made Tri-Hex paper pallet runners that can be produced and shipped to them quickly. Kapston is currently the largest customer in that area.

The pallet runner machine in Arlington takes cardboard sheets and folds them into pallet runners, which can then be shipped to customers. Customers can glue them to a cardboard platform as needed to make the final paper pallet. The Tri-Hex Pallet Runner Machine is made by Erdie Industries and can be licensed to companies to make their own pallets on-site as needed, saving production and delivery costs.

“We’ve been to Texas a number of times getting this set up,” said Lisa Dietz, President of Erdie Industries, Inc. “Jason [Erdie] was there three times in November alone, and I was there once after that.”
