MBS will attend the Kake Day Fair

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 3, 2013 - Managed Business Solutions (http://www.mbshome.com/) (MBS) will participate in the second annual Kake Day Fair on Friday, January 8. The fair will feature a health and career exposition along with an arts and crafts fair, and an evening social. The fair is part of the Kake Day Celebration.  The three-day festivities include reflections on not only the community’s history, but also its Tlingit culture.

In June 2011, MBS opened a satellite office in Kake, a remote village in Southeast Alaska. “I am pleased to have MBS contribute at the fair, said Jon Duncan, MBS’ President and CEO.  My hope is to give Kake residents an idea of possible careers they can have in technology. Maybe someday, a future Kake graduate will come to work for MBS.”

The Kake Day Celebration begins in Kake on Friday at 10 a.m., for the general public. The festivities end with a Grand Exit and the presentation of commemorative canoes at 8 p.m. Sunday. This will be its 101 year of celebration. The weekend’s celebrations will conclude with a remembrance of the past, a celebration of the present, and then a look to the future.
