Lexcel Accreditation is awarded to firms demonstrating the highest standard of client care and practice management.
Don Bird, partner and head of the Family Law Department, said: “To receive Lexcel Accreditation, firms undergo a meticulous independent testing and inspection process and must meet strict standards of client care, file and data management and complaints handling.
Lucy Scott-Moncrieff, president of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: “Gaining and maintaining Lexcel is no mean feat.
“By undergoing the rigorous Lexcel application and assessment process practices can show the positive steps they are taking to help clients in the increasingly diverse, complicated legal services market.
“The scheme is a beacon of quality to clients and potential clients alike.”
Independent assessments are carried out initially and then annually and evaluate a wide range of areas including the firm’s commitment to protecting client confidentiality and to communicating with clients in a clear and honest way.
